Teresa Irizo, PhD Candidate

Teresa López de Tejada Irizo is a Spanish linguist and PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics at Nebrija University. Her PhD research examines the role of language in emotional and cognitive processing in multilingual contexts, with particular attention to bilingual emotional processing, media perception, autobiographical memory, and future thinking.

At the Polis Institute, her research focuses on second-language teaching methodology, teacher training, and the pedagogical development of the Polis Method. She also collaborates in the development, coordination and academic follow-up of Polis programs, course content, student life and institutional collaborations.
