On Thursday March 24, the Polis Institute played host to the Musrara Winter Music Festival. This month long event is organized by the Center for Middle Eastern Classical Music and consists of five free concerts that are hosted by various institutions in the Musrara neighborhood. As the lights were dimmed we were treated to the hypnotic Persian music of Tzlili Shiraz, a band consisting of Yaron Cherniak, Chanani Zeet, Mendi Wertheim, and Dalia Pazind.
