Rome Summer 2019: Ancient Greek
Dates: July 1-19, 2019
Levels (a placement test may be required)*:
Group 1 (requirements: knowledge of the Greek alphabet)
Group 2 (requirements: basic knowledge of Greek grammar)
Group 3 (requirements: intermediate knowledge of Greek grammar)
Group 4 (requirements: intermediate Greek speaking skills)
Price: 600 Euros**
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00-13:00
Group 1: Polis: Speaking Ancient Greek as a Living Language Level One, Student's Volume (35€ - not included in the fee)
Group 2: Polis: Speaking Ancient Greek as a Living Language Level One, Student's Volume (35€ - not included in the fee)
Group 3: a booklet will be provided at the beginning of the course (included in the course fee)
Group 4: a booklet will be provided at the beginning of the course (included in the course fee)

Note on Groups:
Students are divided into groups of no more of 20 students each. The groups are not necessarily the same as levels, which depend on the previous knowledge of the students at the beginning of the courses. It could happen that one year all the groups belong to level 1, while another year all of them belong to level 3. Please note that level 3 is dependent on the level of the students enrolled, and so can change from year to year.
Museum/site entrance fees are the responsibility of the student.

Courses will take place provided that a minimum of students register.
*A placement test may be required. Placement tests can include a written and oral component. The written component is completed in advance, while the oral component (if needed) is completed on the first day of the course.
Books are not included in the tuition fee unless otherwise noted.
**There is a 50€ early-registration discount for students who register and pay in full by June 12, 2019.
