Rome Summer 2019: Methodology
Dates: July 6 - 16, 2020

Requirements: The methodology lessons are held in English with the exception of the Practical Exercises, which require some competence in the target language (Latin, Ancient Greek, or Biblical Hebrew). Students who are not registered in a language course in addition to the methodology course are required to choose a language course to attend in the morning as an auditor.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday

  • Language Class (9:00 - 13:00) 

  • Practical Exercises: 10-15 minute presentation in front of 1-2 teachers using a technique (14:15 - 15:45)

  • Theoretical Sessions: class on a specific technique including theory and examples (16:00 - 18:00)

    • 2 - Total Physical Response

    • 3 - Story Building

    • 4 - Drama and Pair Work

    • 5 - Assimilation of Paradigms 1

    • 6 - Assimilation of Paradigms 2

    • 7 - Storytelling

Museum/site entrance fees are the responsibility of the student.
