Hansel and Gretel

After the Ancient Greek summer intensive course at Polis, students are able to enjoy reading and listening to the classic fairy tale Hansel and Gretel. This translation is simple and elegant, with the  expectation that more advanced students will also appreciate listening to and reading a beloved and familiar story. We hope this resource will be an encouragement and inspiration for students of Ancient Greek. Polis will soon be publishing the Hansel and Gretel story as a book for students of Ancient Greek.
